Dear Mr, Lang:

In accordance with Section 37-60-106 C.RS., the Town of Grand Lake is requesting that the
Colorado Water Conservation Board consider the designation of flood hazard areas within and in
the vicinity of the Town of Grand Lake,

We would like the CWCB staff to review the floodplain information entitled "Flood Insurance
Rate Map", dated 1/1/86, and expand the area under review to include the present Town limits
plus such areas as are presently being considered for annexation into the Town limits. If possible,
this designation and review should take place at the CWCB's Board meeting scheduled in May,
2000, We understand that there is no financial commitment or administrative duties required from
the Town in this regard,
