<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. ' <br /> <br />Maps and Field Surveys <br /> <br />The 100 year floodplain limits shall be shown on a map of suitable <br /> <br />detail and scale. The map may be an existing topographic map, a <br /> <br />town or county map, or it may have to be prepared for the study by <br /> <br />photogrammetric methods. <br /> <br />The following general mapping requirements and map accuracy stan- <br /> <br />dards will be required by the CWCB for designation and approval and <br /> <br />for regulation and administration by local governments. <br /> <br />Maps suitable for floodplain delineation and regulation have been <br /> <br />divided into the following categories: <br /> <br />Category I: Maps with cultural and physical details showing <br /> <br />floodplain limit lines, but without contour lines, floodwater <br /> <br />elevation reference points and cross section alignments. <br /> <br />Category II: Maps with cultural and physical details showing <br /> <br />floodolain limit lines, ?ontour lines/flood water elevation <br />r(.-,-,<~ -:...,." ,>, <br />reference points and' alignments but without established state ~r\~ <br /> <br />~ coordinates or monumentation on the ground. <br /> <br />Category III: Maps with cultural and physical details showing <br /> <br />floodplain limit lines, contour lines floodwater elevation <br />. .
