The CWCB hydrologic study is based on regional regression equations obtained from <br />"Analysis of the Magnitude and Frequency of Floods in Colorado," prepared by the U.S. <br />Geological Survey in cooperation with the Colorado Department of Transportation and the <br />Bureau of Land Management, 1996. <br /> <br />. The Corps of Engineers hydrologic study is based on ,a combined, 'population <br />snowmelt/rainfall discharge frequency analysis. Rainfall and snowmelt discharge-frequency <br />curves developed for several locations in the study area were plotted,. and the combined <br />population curve at the desired location was calculated. <br /> <br />.
