The selected plan is a gravity subdrain system consisting of 1500 feet of 10"
perforated singlewall PVC with sock, 1200 feet of 10" solid PVC, 3 manholes, 2
clean outs, and an outfall structure with a flap gate.

The preliminary design for the subdrain system is presented on plates 1 through 3. The
plan consists of the following features:

. An outfall structure and flap gate at station 0+00 A

. 1200 feet of solid 10" PVC from station 0+00 A to station 12+00 A

. 200 feet of perforated 10" PVC with sock from station 12+00 A to station 14+00 A

. 195 feet of perforated 10" PVC with sock from station 14+00 A to station 15+95 A

. 560 feet of perforated 10" PVC with sock from station 15+95 A to station 21+55 A

. 545 feet of perforated 10" PVC with sock from station 14+00 A to station 5+45 B

. Three standard 48" manholes at stations 12+00 A, 14+00 A, and 15+95 A

. Two clean outs at stations 21 +55 A and 5+45 B

The cost estimate for the recommended project plan is presented in figure 4.

7
