The purpose of the meeting is
to scope the "Work Plan" for the performance of a flood mitigation projec1 which will mitigate
flood problems in the community.

As I previously requested, we need a backhoe and operator in order to excavate a test hole
to determine subsurface flow rates. Permission from the landowner for this activity is also a
prerequisite.

Mr. Tom Browning on my staff will be the project engineer for the performance of this
project. I look forward to working with the Town on this flood mitigation project with the goal
of the formulation of flood measures which will reduce future flood losses and problems.

LLI

Sincl~' L
'/~~. r 1 ~7
lLarry Fang, Cliief !
Flood ontrol and Floodplain Management Section

b: gu.adproj.ltr
