<br />;:'" ,,')/;: <br /> <br />THE URBAN DRAINAGE AND FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO.~l', SERIES OF 1977 <br />(Acceptance of Grange Hall Creek Master Plan Report) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board desired to cooperate with the County ~f Adams, <br /> <br /> <br />the City of Northglenn, and the City of Thornton in preparing drainage plans <br /> <br />for the Grange Hall Creek basin; and <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board authorized the Executive Director to execute an <br /> <br />agreement for engineering services with the County of Adams, City of Northglenn, <br /> <br />City of Thornton, and a qualified engineering firm, and to Secure the necessary <br /> <br />mappin9 (Resolution No. 40, Series of 1975); and <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board accepted the Phase A portion of the study and autho- <br /> <br />rized the Executive Director to direct engineer to proceed with Phase B (Resolu- <br />tion No. 13, Series of 1977); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the engineer, Hydro-Triad, Ltd., has completed the master plan <br /> <br />study; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: <br /> <br />1. The Board of Directors of the Urban Drainage and Flood Control <br /> <br /> <br />District here~y accept the Master Plan report (Major Drainageway <br /> <br /> <br />Planning, Grange Hall Creek, December, 1977) and recommend its use <br /> <br /> <br />as a guide in future planning and design work relating to the <br /> <br />above basin. <br /> <br />2. The Board -of Directors of the Urban Drainage and Flood Control <br /> <br />District recommend that the County of Adams, the City of Northglenn, <br /> <br /> <br />and the City of Thornton adopt and use the Master Plan to regulat~ <br /> <br />and/or control the lOO-year flood plain as defined in the Master <br /> <br />Plan; and <br /> <br />3. The Board of Directors of the Urban Drainage and Flood Control <br /> <br /> <br />District submit the Master Plan for designation and app~oval by <br /> <br /> <br />the Colorado Water Conservation Board as required by Article <br /> <br />1~9-60-l, Colorado Revised Statutes, 1963, as a flood hazard area, <br />
