Group No. I

Group No. II

Group No. III

Group No. IV

Group No. V

For these.1l'reports, the floodplain information
has been superseded. A cursory review will be
required for these reports.

For these 39 reports, the floodplain information
is complete and ready for a technical review by
the Board.

For these 63 reports, the reports present both
detailed and approximate floodplain
information. Most of the approximate
information does not meet the requirements of
the "Rules and Regulations" for approximate
floodplains.

For these 42 reports and maps, the floodplain
information ~ not meet the Board's "Rules
and:ReguIations" for approximate floodplains.

Aftet Deeember 31, 1993, any floorplain
information that the Board receives will be
placed into this group.

To assist the existing staff with the technical reviews, additional support will be
needed to accomplish the tasks and reviews. For the Group numbers ill and IV reviews,
a "Hydrology Handbook" is needed to provide reasonable hydrology for the approximate
floodplains. This task can be accomplished by a consultant in 3-6 months at a cost of
$25,000.00. In the development of our "Rules and Regulations", it was the AG office's
opinion that there needs to be a coordination between detailed and approximate
floodplain information. This can be accomplished through the "Hydrology Handbook".

Two plans are proposed to accomplish the reviews and designations. Plan I will
be accomplished with the aid of the Hydrology Handbook and existing staff which will
take 4 years and 6 months to complete. Plan II will be completed in 24 months with the
aid of the Hydrology Handbook and a consultant.

The schedules for the two plans are presented on Exhibits A and B. Exhibit C is
a detailed listing of the content of the 176 undesignated floodplain information report.
This exhibit presents the reference information for all the reports. Exhibit D is the
standard review form which is used for the technical reviews. This form addresses all the
provisions of our "Rules and Regulations".

.
