Map Location #4 - Two 60 inch (150 em) diameter concrete culvert pipe or equiv- alent will be placed at 3 floodway crossings; Highway 40, Shelton Lane and the railroad. Map Location #5 - A concrete crossing for a proposed road. Map Location #6 - Two concrete crossings in conjunction with existing roads. Approximately 850 feet (255 m) of fence along east side of Shelton Lane, north side of railroad along floodway and at several property crossings between the railroad and the river. All areas disturbed by construction approximately 8 acres (J.2 ha) will be revegetated to the native species. B. Installation Costs The total estimated cost of installation ($215,800) includes costs for construction, engineering and other technical assistance, land rights and project administration (Table 1). Of this amount $128,300 wIll be paid from RC&D and $87,500 will be paid by the Town of Hayden. These costs are esti- mates. Actual costs incurred in the installation will determine the costs to be borne by each party. C. Method of Financing The Town of Hayden will finance its share of measure instal- lation from the town's General Fund. The federal share will be obtained from RC&D funds. D. Land Rights The Town of Hayden will secure all land, easements and rights of way to construct the measure. The estimated cost of land rights is $86,500 (see Table 2). E. Contracting and Procurement The measure will be installed by federal contracting proce- dures administered by the Soil Conservation Service. RC&D funds will pay for all construction. engineering and other technical services, and administrative costs incurred by the Service. The Town of Hayden will bear the administrative and land rights costs that it incurs. 5
