<br />Map Location #4 - <br /> <br />Two 60 inch (150 em) diameter concrete culvert pipe or equiv- <br />alent will be placed at 3 floodway crossings; Highway 40, <br />Shelton Lane and the railroad. <br /> <br />Map Location #5 - <br /> <br />A concrete crossing for a proposed road. <br /> <br />Map Location #6 - <br /> <br />Two concrete crossings in conjunction with existing roads. <br /> <br />Approximately 850 feet (255 m) of fence along east side of <br />Shelton Lane, north side of railroad along floodway and at <br />several property crossings between the railroad and the <br />river. <br /> <br />All areas disturbed by construction approximately 8 acres <br />(J.2 ha) will be revegetated to the native species. <br /> <br />B. Installation Costs <br /> <br />The total estimated cost of installation ($215,800) includes <br />costs for construction, engineering and other technical <br />assistance, land rights and project administration (Table 1). <br />Of this amount $128,300 wIll be paid from RC&D and $87,500 <br />will be paid by the Town of Hayden. These costs are esti- <br />mates. Actual costs incurred in the installation will <br />determine the costs to be borne by each party. <br /> <br />C. Method of Financing <br /> <br />The Town of Hayden will finance its share of measure instal- <br />lation from the town's General Fund. The federal share will <br />be obtained from RC&D funds. <br /> <br />D. Land Rights <br /> <br />The Town of Hayden will secure all land, easements and rights <br />of way to construct the measure. The estimated cost of land <br />rights is $86,500 (see Table 2). <br /> <br />E. Contracting and Procurement <br /> <br />The measure will be installed by federal contracting proce- <br />dures administered by the Soil Conservation Service. RC&D <br />funds will pay for all construction. engineering and other <br />technical services, and administrative costs incurred by the <br />Service. The Town of Hayden will bear the administrative and <br />land rights costs that it incurs. <br /> <br />5 <br />
