<br />damage occurred in the Sand Creek area.
<br />A new bridge was badly damaged; Galley
<br />Road, north of Highway South 40, was
<br />almost washed-out and a bridge completely

<br />This was a very costly flood. S~nd Creek
<br />overflowed it~ bank~ one-half mile south
<br />of Fountain Boulevard. One bridge was waShed
<br />out and another was swept away; Drennan Road
<br />and the Bradley Road cutoff Nere washed-
<br />out. A great deal of agricultural land
<br />and stockwater dams were badly damaged.
<br />Approximately SSO,OOO damages were sus~
<br />tained in the Sand Creek region during
<br />thisfIood. Roads and bridges were badly
<br />damaged in the Kelker Road area. A bridge
<br />on Aque Lane was washed-out; Powers Boule-
<br />vard was washed-out and shoulder damages
<br />on Fountain Boulevard were sustained. )he
<br />flood carried cars, wood, fences, etc.,
<br />1.24 inches of rain fell in a 2-hour
<br />span; one life was l,,~t in this flood.
