The unaccommodated runoff from the

100-year event, approximately 400 CFS, would spill out of the proposed channel near the
railroad crossing at Station 48 + 32, and flow parallel to the railroad tracks on the west
side, Downstream from the crossing to West 64th Avenue (Sheet 18), a grass-lined
channel, which is designed for the 25-year event, would convey the remainder of the 100-
year flood but flowing at full depth with no free board.

for larger floods.

TOTAL IMPROVEMENT COSTS - SHEET 17
Item
Channel Improvements
Street Improvements (Railroad Crossing)
Utility Relocation

A maintenance trail is proposed to provide access to the channel reach.

Two sanitary sewers presently cross the existing channel and it is likely that these

utilities will need to be relocated to construct the proposed channel.
