Since
Marshall Street is a local street and not considered as part of the access network for
emergency vehicles and because the potential flood damage resulting from the undersized
culverts beneath Marshall and Harlan Streets is minimal, their enlargement was not
included as part of this Master Plan.
The 100-year floodplain should continue to be regulated and all channel
modifications should be closely monitored. Residents in the vicinity of the 100-year
floodplain should be notified annually of potential flood hazards and the acquisition of
flood insurance by those property owners who would be adversely affected by the 100-year
flood should be encouraged. The channel should be cleared of all debris regularly during
the flood season and after all major storms.

TOTAL IMPROVEMENT COSTS - SHEET 11
Item
TOTAL CONSTRUCTION COSTS
Annual Operation and Maintenance Costs
Present Worth Operation and Maintenance Costs
