However, a double 8 foot by 14 foot box culvert was <br />under construction at the writing of this report, which should adequately conduct the 100- <br />year flood beneath Kipling Street. <br />No channel improvements are justified, since the channel remains predominantly in <br />a natural state, and no major flood damage potential exists. Debris, including trash, <br />uprooted vegetation, and other material should be removed regularly during the flood <br />season. Floodplain use should continue to be monitored and regulated as development <br />occurs to ensure that floodplain activities are compatible with the City of Arvada long <br />range land use plans. <br /> <br />TOTAL IMPROVEMENT COSTS <br /> <br />$ 8,400 <br />
