A
flow separation structure is proposed for Church Ditch to ensure that the ditch is not
overburdened with storm runoff, Because the 100-year flood damage potential is small, no
other channel improvements are recommended for this channel reach. Floodplain use
should continue to be monitored and regulated as development occurs to ensure the
floodplain activities are compatible with Jefferson County and Arvada long range land use
plans. Debris, including trash, uprooted vegetation, and other material should be removed
regularly duri'lt the flood season.

TOTAL IMPROVEMENT COSTS - SHEET 4

Item Cost
Channel Improvements $ 15,300
Street Improvements $ 0
Utility Relocation $ 0
SUb-Total $ 15,300
Contingencies (25% of Sub-Total) $ 3,800
TOTAL CONSTRUCTION COSTS $ 19,100
Right-of-Way Acquisition $ 0
Annual Operation and Maintenance Costs -
Arvada $ (340)
Jefferson County $ (220)
Present Worth Operation and Maintenance Costs $ 8,100
TOTAL IMPROVEMENT COSTS $ 27,200
