mestic water to the lots in the proposed subdivision, To implement
this alternative, it will be necessary to pump well water into a
!3,SOO gallon storage tank to provide adequate water during periods
of peak demand at full development, From the storage tank, it will
be necessary to boost the pressure before the water enters the dis-
tribution system,

During the early stages of development until there are 5 to 8 resi-
dences using water, a hydropneumatic water supply system may be
adequate, This system eliminates the need for a large storage tank
and booster pump,

The physical reliability of a well at this location should be very
good. All indication are that the aquifer at the proposed location
is shallow but is a high yielding, dependable source of water,

It is beyond the scope of this report to assess the dependability
of the water right with respect to the water administration policies
of the State Engineer's Office.

8, An evaluation of the potential for material injury to existing
vested water rights as a result of the proposed subdivision?

Theoretically, water available to existing senior water rights
will be reduced by an amount equivalent to any increased consump-
tive use of the subject water rights, As the history of the
use of the existing well is uncertain, injury to existing senior
rights may vary from zero to a maximum of O,98 acre-feet per year.

4
