This document is the result of nearly two years of District <br />involvement in the investigation and design of riprap drop structures. The <br />document is being released in review form at this time. We are asking <br />designers to consider riprap drop structures as one type of drop structure <br />alternative, and to use this document when designing this type of structure. <br /> <br />After a period of about eight months, we will make any adjustments <br />to the document which we find necessary and will then issue a revised <br />document as a revision to the Urban Storm Drainage Criteria Manual. We <br />would appreciate any comments you have regarding this document, pro or con. <br />As you use these design criteria please make note of any particularly good <br />or not so good aspects and pass them along to us.
