The water treatment plant improvements ara needed,to improve the Town's water <br />quality, particularly, taste and odor and to maintain compliar:ce with Colorado <br />.Department of Health standards. <br /> <br />The goal of the project is to improve the quafrty of finished water. The backup well <br />supply is needed to supplement the Town's Fraser River surface watersupply in case <br />the Fraser River water becomes contaminated with toxic hazardous chemicals. The <br />specific goal of the project would be to install a backup supply of water.
