Scope of Work. - The work to be accomplished under this <br />contract consists of the preparation of a report that delineates <br />the Intermediate Regional Flood (IRF) and the Standard Project <br />Flood (SPF) flood plains in the vicinity of Breckenridge, Colorado, <br />presents the flows for the Blue River downstream from Breckenridge, <br />and provides engineering guidance for road and street crossings. <br /> <br />2. Study Areas. - The areas to be studied and reported on are the <br />following: <br /> <br />a. Flood Plain Delineation. - The Blue River flood plain in <br />the reach shown on the attached map. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />b. Peak Discharqes. - Peak discharges for the Blue River <br />should be developed and presented in tabular form for the 10 and <br />25 year floods, the IRF, and the SPF just downstream of Goose <br />Pasture Tarn Reservoir. The same information should be tabulated <br />for points on the Blue River immediately upstream from Dillon <br />Reservoir and immediately downstream from ,the following points: <br />Illinois Gulch, Lehman Gulch, Sawmill Gulch, French Creek, North <br />Barton Gulch, and Swan River. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />3. Conferences. - During the progress of the work, the engineer <br />shall confer with representatives of the Town of Breckenridge, the <br />County of Summit, and the Colorado Water Conservation Board as <br />necessary to assure that the completed report shall meet their <br />approval. <br /> <br />i <br /> <br />4. General Requirements. - The town and county shall arrange for <br />right-of-entry with property owners to conduct field surveys and <br />investigations. <br /> <br />, 5. <br />, <br />~ of <br />, <br /> <br />Furnished Material. - A high-quality, reproducible contour map <br />the reach to be delineated. <br /> <br />6.
