Current Activities Co='~ntary <br /> <br />Often communities have mitigation activities underway that are not recognized as such. <br />Participation in the National Flood Insurance Program, levees, and floodwalls are flood hazard <br />mitigation measures. <br /> <br />This section should be used to describe past or current mitigation activities. including those <br />underway jas a result of the 1993 Flood. <br /> <br />Acquisitidn projects or elevation projects should be marked on the map (Exhibit 1) that was <br />developed' in Section 3. A list of propenies being acquired or elevated should be included in <br />this plan.
