3/13/95

B-C PROGRAM: Mini-Tutorial

Before Entering
Text

Entering Text

To Correct
Mistakes

Notice that on the first data entry screen, just above the LEVEL ONE
DATA row, is an empty gray par running across most of the screen.

When making an entry in the Benefit-Cost Program, the cursor must be
in the first space inside the selected box, not to the left of it.
Therefore, left-click the mouse on the first space that is completely within
the selected entry box (or move to it using the arrow keys). When the
first character is entered, the empty gray bar will change to display the
characters as they are entered.

To accept the entry just typed, either push the Enter key on the computer
keyboard, or click on the green check mark (I)) to the left of the entry.

PROJ5GT INFORMATION

Building Nam.
Add'...
City, State, Zip
Own.,
Contact Person

For example, type City Hall Annex, then press the Enter key.

To correct mistakes, either click on the cell and retype entire entry, or
position the mouse on the status line and click on the position which
needs to be edited. To reject the entry, either push the Esc (Escape) key
on the keyboard or click on the red X to the left of the entry.

19
