This letter is required by
FEMA for the Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) for the project. The floodway
modifications are a result of flood control improvements recently completed along Dutch
Creek. On behalf of the CWCB, you previously reviewed and conceptually approved a
CLOMR which addressed base flood elevations for this project along Dutch Creek in
your letter dated November 22, 1995. The LOMR submittal is substantially the same as
the CLOMR, which indicated a reduction in 100-year water surface elevations and top
widths within the project area. The floodway model indicates floodway water surface
elevations are equivalent to base flood water surface elevations. The following table
compares the regulatory and revised floodplain and floodway models.

We have sent the HEC-2 analysis and a map comparing floodplain and floodway with the
effective FIRM. Please review these documents and send us your comments or approval
when you have completed your review.

Please contact us if you have any comments or questions. Thank you.

Sincerely,

L

David J. Love, P E.
