<br />WHEREAS, Sections 31-23-301 and 30-28-111, Colorado Revised Statutes, provide that <br />legislative bodies of local jurisdictions may provide zoning regulations for land uses on or along <br />any storm or floodwater runoff channel or basin only after designation and approval by the <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board; and <br /> <br />COMPLIANCE WITH CWCB TECHNICAL STANDARDS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the floodplain information in said report dated November 1971 for Little Dry <br />Creek and Big Dry Creek in the City of Englewood does not meet all of the requirements for <br />detailed information listed under the Board's "Rules and Regulations for the Designation and <br />Approval of Floodplains and of Storm or Floodwater Runoff Channels in Colorado" (2 CCR <br />408-1 ). <br /> <br />DESIGNA TION. APPROVAL. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND RESCISSION ACTION <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water Conservation Board in <br />regular meeting assembled in Denver, Colorado, this 23rd day of November 1998, that it does <br />hereby acknowledge the official status of said report dated November 1971, for purposes of the <br />National Flood Insurance Program, during the period from November 1971 until December 15, <br />1979, and that it does hereby rescind the storm or floodwater runoff channels or basins for those <br />portions of Little Dry Creek and Big Dry Creek within the City of Englewood described by detailed <br />floodplain information in said report dated November 1971, effective retroactively on December <br />15,1979;and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Board is directed to send a <br />certified copy of this resolution to the City of Englewood; the City of Cherry Hills Village; the City <br />of Greenwood Village; the City of Littleton; the City of Sheridan; the City and County of Denver; <br />the Board of County Commissioners of Arapahoe County; the Urban Drainage and Flood Control <br />District; the Colorado Office of Emergency Management; the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, <br />Omaha District; and the Federal Emergency Management Agency. <br /> <br />CERTIFICATE <br /> <br />I certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution adopted by a majority <br />vote of the members of the Colorado Water Conservation Board in regular session assembled at <br />Denver, Colorado, on the 23rd day of November 1998, at which a quorum was present. <br /> <br />?c~ it ~. <br /> <br />Peter H.
