2. Urban Drainage Storm Water Management Model (UDSWM2-PC) for
routing of flow through the basins.

The following three planning scenarios were simulated in the master plan by these
two computer models:

1. Existing condition hydrology with existing facilities.

2. Future development condition hydrology with existing facilities.

3. Future development condition hydrology with on-site detention and
proposed improvements.

The rainfall design storms used in the hydrologic analysis of the Tri,Town Basin
were based on information presented in the Precipitation Frequency Atlas of the
Western United States, NOAA Atlas 2, Volume III, Colorado, dated 1973. The
one-hour rainfall values obtained from the NOAA Atlas were utilized to develop
a three hour design storm for use in the CUHP computer model.

Figure 4 on the following page shows the various subbasins developed by Anderson
Consulting Engineers, Inc. for computer modeling purposes. Hydrology results
by Anderson Consulting Engineering Inc. for the 100 year storm <:vent, for those
basins draining into the proposed regional detention pond south of Frederick, are
summarized in the following table:

on n umg y ro ogy
Basin Number Existing Condi
Hydr
61 307
62 418
63 372
89 291
90 776
91 741
92 145
93 116
94 35

C t'b r H d I

to the R

IDt r P

cfs

eglOna {: en IOn 011(
lOO Year Future Condition 100 Year
Hydrology
13 cfs
292 cfs
--- f--
34 cfs
78 cfs
--- f--
126 cfs
634 cfs
26 cfs
57 cfs
16 cfs

tion
ology

cfs

cfs

cfs

cfs

cfs

cfs

cfs

cfs

II
