<br />~ <br /> <br />..- <br /> <br />PREFACE <br /> <br />This flood-plain information report presents the results of a study on <br />the Big Thompson Rivet flood plain in the vicinity of Loveland, Colorado. <br />It was prepared by Resource Consultants, Inco, of Fort Collins, Colorado, <br />at the request of the City of Loveland and Larimer County 1n cooperation <br />with the ColoradO Water Conservation Board. This report is an attempt to <br />revise snd update previous studies of this teach of the Big Thompson River <br />completed In 1971 by the Corps of Engineers (Ref. 1) and In 1978 by the <br />Flood Insurance Administration (Ref. 7). It provides necessary documenta- <br />tion tor the City of Loveland to enter the ~ational Flood Insurance Program. <br /> <br />Copies of this report are available for public distribution, for a <br />nominal fee, at the below listed offices. A Technical Addendum to this <br />report is also available for review ae ehe same offices; however, it has <br />not been published in sufficiene quantieies for public distribution.
