It includes information on historical floods, existing

factors that influence the flood hazard, and the nature and extent of probable future

floods. The study data include flooded area maps delineating the loa-year flood

boundaries and flood profiles for the ten-, SO-, 100-, and soo-year recurrence

inten'als. A supplement to this study in the form of a technical addendum includes

the supporting engineering and hydrologic data that may further be used in

engineering studies in the location and design of roads, bridges and channel

modifications.

The technical information provided herein has been divided into two sections:

1) Four-Mile Creek flood plain information and 2) Mud Gulch flood plain

information. Flood plain maps and profiles for both areas are provided in Appendix

1. This study, in its entirety, comprises Volume I of the Flood Plajn Management

Stud}; Four-Mile Creek and Mud Gulch at Canon Oty, Fremont County; Colorado.

2
