<br />
<br />The Flood Insurance Rate Map for the City of Gunnison is, for
<br />insurance purposes, the principal result of this Flood Insurance
<br />Study, This map (published separately) contains the official
<br />delineation of flood insurance zones and base flood elevations
<br />lines, Base flood elevation lines show the locations of the
<br />expected whole-foot water-surface elevations of the base (IOO-year)
<br />flood. This map is developed in accordance with the latest flood
<br />insurance map preparation guidelines published by FlA.

<br />In April 1979, ECI completed a flood study of the Gunnison River/Tomichi
<br />Creek, Gunnison, Colorado (Reference 1), Information of this study was
<br />made available to the study contractor and the results of this flood
<br />study are reasonable and, therefore, were adopted for this flood
<br />insurance study,

<br />Insurance Program; data presented herein either supersede or are
<br />compatible with all previous determinations,
