The 1965 peak discharge on Wolf Creek was estimated to be 35,300 cfs and is considered to <br />be the flood of record, <br /> <br />Previous Studies and Proiects <br /> <br />Several reports have been published regarding the Arkansas River and its tributaries within Prowers <br />County. Corps of Engineers - Construction of the Granada Flood Control Project was completed, 1980. <br /> <br />7. Corps of Engineers - Construction of the Holly Flood Control Project was completed, 1981. <br /> <br />8. Federal Emergency Management Agency - Letter acknowledging the benefits of the Holly <br />Flood Control Project; determination was made that Holly would not be inundated by the 100- <br />year flood; the Flood Hazard Boundary Map for Holly was rescinded, 1983, <br /> <br />9, Federal Emergency Management Agency - Letter acknowledging the benefits of the Granada <br />Flood Control Project; determination was made that Granada was minimally flood prone; the <br />Flood Hazard Boundary Map was converted to a Flood Insurance Rate Map, 1983. <br /> <br />10.
