Resources <br />1313 Sherman Street, Room 721 <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Kuharich: <br /> <br />The National Weather Service (NWS) will conduct an independent review <br />of the Colorado Water Conservation Board's Probable Maximum <br />Precipi tation Study for Cherry Creek Reservoir because of i tiS <br />relevance to our program and the potential to advance the science in <br />this arena. In order for the NWS to preserve its independence, we <br />will not be able to act as a member the Colorado Water Conse:cvation <br />Board's Technical Review Team. <br /> <br />We will: <br /> <br />1. Review Interim Reports 1 and 2 of the Probable Maximum <br />Precipitation Study for Cherry Creek Reservoir prepared by <br />Applied Weather Associates and provide a written report On our <br />findings and recorrmendations within five weeks of receiving the <br />Interim Reports. <br /> <br />2. Review the Draft Final Report of the Probable Maximmn <br />Precipitation Study for Cherry Creek Reservoir prepared by <br />Applied Weather Associates and-p~9duce a written report on our <br />findings and recorrmendations within two weeks of receiving the <br />Draft Final report. <br /> <br />3.
