Resources 1313 Sherman Street, Room 721 Denver, Colorado 80203 Dear Mr. Kuharich: The National Weather Service (NWS) will conduct an independent review of the Colorado Water Conservation Board's Probable Maximum Precipi tation Study for Cherry Creek Reservoir because of i tiS relevance to our program and the potential to advance the science in this arena. In order for the NWS to preserve its independence, we will not be able to act as a member the Colorado Water Conse:cvation Board's Technical Review Team. We will: 1. Review Interim Reports 1 and 2 of the Probable Maximum Precipitation Study for Cherry Creek Reservoir prepared by Applied Weather Associates and provide a written report On our findings and recorrmendations within five weeks of receiving the Interim Reports. 2. Review the Draft Final Report of the Probable Maximmn Precipitation Study for Cherry Creek Reservoir prepared by Applied Weather Associates and-p~9duce a written report on our findings and recorrmendations within two weeks of receiving the Draft Final report. 3. Attend the Colorado Water Conservation Board's Final Project Meeting to be held in the Denver area on or about May 7,. 2002.
