the previous analysis, the GIS produced isohyetal pattern was 20-25% larger than the previous
isohyetal pattern. To be conservative, the A W A team used the larger ofthe rainfall patterns, i.e.
the GIS isohyetal pattern.

6) Information on the data used for each storm analyzed will be included in the final
report. Additionally, discussion related to the Big Elk Meadows and Big Thompson storms will
be included.

7) John.... ..could vou take this one.

8) Editorial reviews have been completed.

Related Remark

Mr. Doeskens suggest a potential scenario oftwo days with 10" or more point rainfalls
followed by a third day with 6". Using the without storm ratio of 0.64, this scenario would
produce two days with basin average rainfalls of somewhat less than 6.4" and a third day with
somewhat less than 3.6", for a total 72-hour basin average rainfall of about 16". Our basin
average PMP rainfall of 15.4" is very close to that recommended by Mr. Doeskens.
