<br />The recommended methodology for obtaining IOO-year discharge rates for th(, Florida River <br />below Lemon Dam is the third methodology described above. The method consists of adding a <br />discharge rate from the dam of 900 cfs to a peak flow computed for the portion of the basin <br />below the dam using the CWCB regional regression equations. The appropriate CWCB <br />regressior. equation has been previously presented in this document. <br /> <br />Flows for tributary streams to the rlorida River studied by approximate methods were also <br />determined using the CWCB regional regression equati.ons, The results of this analysis are <br />presented in Table 2. <br /> <br />A :;hort reach of the Animas River between Smith Lake and East Animas Road north of Durango <br />is also studied by approximate methods in the 1995 :FlS. Detailed study of the stream begins <br />immediately downstr,eam of East Animas Road and the (Lscharge rate used in the detailed study <br />has been adopted for use in the short approximate reach upstream. The adopted flow rate is <br />presented in Table 2. <br /> <br />'7 <br />
