Randolph Seaholm <br />Mark Matulik <br /> <br />Study Director <br />Project Manager <br />Drafting <br /> <br />Existing Floodplain Information <br /> <br />The first floodplain information on this reach of the South <br /> <br /> <br />Platte was completed by the Corps in October. 1963, This <br /> <br /> <br />report was prior to the construction of Chatfield Reservoir <br /> <br /> <br />therefore the hydrology contained therein is no longer <br /> <br /> <br />applicable. Also. the base mapping foe this reach has been <br /> <br /> <br />revised and updated several times since 1963. In 1976 the <br /> <br /> <br />Federal Insurance administration began issuing Flood Insurance <br /> <br /> <br />Studies for each jurisdiction in this reach beginning with the <br /> <br /> <br />City of Sheridan. These flood insueance studies. which are <br /> <br /> <br />listed in table 1 all utilized hydrology developed by the U.S, <br /> <br /> <br />-3_ <br />
