This report presents the results of a master drainagcway
planning study on Spring Creek from the confluence with the Cache
La poudre River west to Spring Canyon Dam. The study revises and
updates the "Spring Creek Major Draina.geway Plan", by Gingery
Associates, Inc., prepared in 1980. Various alternatives for
improving the existing flooding problem between College Avenue and
the Burlington Northern Railroad were investigated, with a
recommended alternative presented herein. Additional improvements
to the Spring Creek Orainageway consistent with developing a 100-
year event, developed conditions system capacity are also
presented. Future improvements to the drainageway shOUld be based
on the information contained herein and city directives.
