<br />Snyder Creek <br />South Branch Park <br />Gulch <br />South Platte River <br />Spring Creek <br />Tappan Gulch <br />Tarryall Creek <br />Tarryall Creek <br />Thirtyone Mile Creek <br />Threemile Creek ' <br />Threemile Gulch <br />Trout Creek <br />Trout Gulch <br />Twelvemile Creek <br />Twin Creek <br />Union Creek <br />Wagon Tongue Creek <br />Waluce Gulch <br />Weber Gulch <br />West Fourmile Creek <br />Wheeler Lake <br />Wigwam Creek <br />Willow Gulch <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board completed a new report entitled <br />"Floodplain Information Report, Park County, Colorado" dated January 1999 which provides <br />technical and floodplain management information to supplement the floodplain delineations <br />contained on said floodplain maps dated November 22, 1977; and <br /> <br />LOCAL REOUEST FOR DESIGNA nON <br />WHEREAS, Park County, Colorado has requested the Colorado Water Conservation Board <br />to designate and approve the floodplain inform!ltion contained on said Flood Hazard Boundary <br />Maps dated November 22, 1977 with included Floodplain Information Report dated January 1999; <br />and <br /> <br />c.R.S AUTHORITY <br />WHEREAS, Section 37-60-106(1)(c), Colorado Revised Statutes, requires the Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board to assist in the prevention of floods and flood damages therefrom; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Sections 31-23-301 and 30-28-111, Colorado Revised Statutes, provide that <br />legislative bodies of local jurisdictions may provide zoning regulations for land uses on or along <br />any storm or floodwater runoff channel or basin only after designation and approval by the <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 37-60-106(l)(c), Colorado Revised Statutes, directs the Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board to designate and approve storm or floodwater runoff channels or basins <br />and to make such designations available to legislative bodies of local jurisdictions; and <br />
