I
I The entire basin was divided into 12 sub-basins so that a's could be
determined at a number of locations. These sub-bas ins are i dent ifi ed on
I the Basin Boundary Map found in the Appendix of this report (sheet 1 of 12
of the drawings). The physical characteristics and hydrograph parameters
for each of these subareas as well as the entire basin are tabulated in
I Table 2.
I TABLE 2
I WATERSHED AND HYDROGRAPH PARAMETERS
I
I Length to Basin
Sub- Area Length Centroid Slope % Ct Cp Ct
I Basin (Sq. The 0 at a
point was computed by lumping in succesion all the contributing areas into
s i ngu 1 ar subareas. The 0100 values ca 1 cul ated for the do"ns tream end of
each of the 12 subareas are summarized in Table 2A alonq with 0100 values
for three key confluences of the various reaches of Marcy Gulch con-
sidered in this analysis. Typical hydrographs computed at various subareas
are shown in Figures 5, 6 and 7 in the Appendix of this report.

TABLE 2A
PEAK FLOW RATES
FULLY DEVELOPED CONDITIONS

SUB-BASIN
100
200
300
1000
400
500
600
610
700
710
800
900

CALCULATED
0100(1)
(cfs)
3015
2822
2662
634
2587
1980
560
708
451
316
360
549

(1) Additional calculated 0100 valves are as follows:
Confluence of Sub-Basins 300 & 1000, 0100 = 2934 cfs
Confluence of Sub-Basins 600 & 610, 0100 = 1062 cfs
Confluence of Sub-Basins 700 & 710, 0100 = 726 cfs
