<br />RESOLUTION
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District, completed a
<br />floodplain report entitled "Flood Plain Infoonation, Colorado River and Rifle, Government and
<br />Hubbard Gulch Creeks, Rifle, Colorado", dated April 1973; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said report included detailed floodplain information for streams within the
<br />corporate limits of the City of Rifle and within unincorporated portions of Garfield County, as
<br />they were in April 1973, including the Colorado River; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by the City of Rifle,
<br />by Resolution No. 22, adopted on July 11, 1973, designated and approved the detailed floodplain
<br />information included in said report; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District, completed a
<br />floodplain report entitled "Flood Plain Information, Colorado and Gunnison Rivers, Grand
<br />Junction, Colorado", dated March 1973; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said report included detailed floodplain information for streams within the
<br />corporate limits of the City of Grand Junction and within unincorporated portions of Mesa
<br />County, as they were in March 1973, including the Colorado River; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by the Western
<br />Colorado Regional Planning Commission, by Resolution No. 25, adopted on October 31, 1973,
<br />designated and approved the detailed floodplain information included in said report; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District, completed a
<br />floodplain report entitled "Flood Hazard Information, Colorado River and Tributaries, Fruita,
<br />Colorado", dated November 1976; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said report included detailed floodplain information for streams within the
<br />corporate limits of the City ofFruita and within unincorporated portions of Mesa County, as they
<br />were in November 1976, including the Colorado River; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by Mesa County, by
<br />Resolution No. 78, adopted on September 23, 1977, designated and approved the detailed
