These comments are to supplement the review copy of the Flood <br />Insurance Study wherein most of the specific comments and corrections <br />have been made. " <br /> <br />The following comment: pertain to the Text of the Flood Insurance <br />Stl1dy Report. <br /> <br />Section 1.2 Coordination- <br /> <br />I <br />( <br />l, <br />f.1 <br />'" <br />ft.' <br />t,. <br /> <br />The following dates of meetings and conferences concering the <br />Adams County FloOd Insurance Study are provided as requested: <br /> <br />October 23, 1975 - Public hearing with the Adams County <br />Planning Commission to review the Clear Creek flood <br />plain and other delineated flood plains in the county. <br /> <br />November 11, 1975 - A meeting wie~ the Urban Drainage. <br />and Flood Control District, the Colorado Water Conser- <br />vation Board, Gingery Associates, Inc., and FIA to <br />discuss discrepancies with the UD & FOD Big Dry Creek <br />study. The results of the meeting were to use the <br />100-year profile and floodway developed by the UD & PCD, <br />with the exception of the area around Interstate 25 which <br />was adjusted to more accurately depict the lOO-year <br />flood. It was also decided at this meeting to delete <br />the 50-year profile because of the closemess to the 100- <br />year profile. <br /> <br />November 13, 1975 - Public hearing with the Adams County <br />Planning Commission to present the South Platte River <br />flood plain delineation and review any comments concern- <br />ing other flood plain delineations within the county. <br /> <br />November 28, 1975 - A meeting with the Adams County <br />Planning Director and Gingery Associates to field <br />inspect various flood plains within the county. <br /> <br />August 26, 1976 - A final, public, community coordination <br />meeting was held with the Adams CountyPPlanning commission <br />at which all the flood plain information prepared for the <br />county was presented and discussed. <br /> <br />1 <br />l\l' <br /> <br />" <br />,<:. <br />~t <br />~, <br />i!o~' <br />i <br />t <br />t <br />
