<br />The reference for the flood proofing costs is entitled "Flood <br />Proofing Nonresidential Structures" published by FEMA in May 1986. <br /> <br />All costs have been updated to 1991 dollars. <br /> <br />SUMMARY <br /> <br />The <br /> <br />results <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />chis <br /> <br />study <br /> <br />indicate <br /> <br />that there <br />'\ <br />be: ,taken <br /> <br />are <br /> <br />feasible <br /> <br />structural and nonstructural measures that may <br /> <br /> <br />damages incurred by flooding in Platte Center. <br /> <br /> <br />this study are the following: <br /> <br />to reduce the <br /> <br />The recommendations of <br /> <br />Conduct a Flood Insuranc~ Study. <br /> <br />Implement and actively enforce flood plain regulations and <br /> <br />zoning, <br /> <br />;, Develop and implement a flood w~rning system and" flood <br />preparedness plan, - <br /> <br />.
