Are flood hazards present which may effect the proposed <br />project? (. Tn. <br />,,{'. <br />2. What is the potential for the project to contribute to <br />or reduce future flood damages? <br /> <br />We understand the purpose of our screening these 115 <br />applications for potential flood hazards is to comply with the <br />requirements of Federal Executive Order 11988 and State Executive <br />Order 8504. <br /> <br />As a matter of interest, out of the 115 applications. 82 <br />(71%) of the projects are in or have the potential to be in the <br />floodplain and 33 (29%) are beyond any floodplain. <br /> <br />The ability of the applicant to access the flood hazard, as <br />indicated in his response to question 7a, is also of interest. <br />Out of the 115 applications: <br /> <br /> .. 29% say their project is not in a floodplain and are correct <br /> .. 46% say their project is not in a floodplain and are wrong <br />.. * 25% say their project is in the floodplain and are correct <br /> ED-l <br /> CDBG <br /> <br />Herber.
