<br />for which reaches there is, therefore, no longer a 100-year floodplain, as listed in Table 3, attached <br />hereto and by this reference incorporated herein: <br /> <br />TABLE 3 <br /> <br />Stream Reaches Where the 100- Year Floodplain <br />Has Been Eliminated bv Flood Control Structures Constructed Since December 1992 <br /> <br />Cripple Creek from 5th Street upstream to a point immediately upstream of its crossing of Carr Avenue <br /> <br />Main Street Tributary to Cripple Creek from its confluence with Cripple Creek upstream to the intersection of Main Street and <br />Carr Avenue <br /> <br />; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Cripple Creek has stated that it will prepare new detailed floodplain <br />information to demonstrate that there are no longer 100-year floodplains associated with the stream <br />reaches listed in Table 3; and <br /> <br />Consistency with Previous Floodplain Studies <br />WHEREAS, the floodplain information contained in said new report dated December 1992 for <br />Cripple Creek, Poverty Gulch and Pony Gulch is inconsistent with the approximate floodplain <br />information contaID.ed in the September 30, 1988 Flood Insurance Study for Teller County and <br />Incorporated Areas for those portions of Cripple Creek, Poverty Gulch and Pony Gulch within the <br />corporate limits of the City of Cripple Creek, as they were on September 30,1988; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the hydrologic information contained in said new report dated December 1992 is <br />consistent with the hydrologic information contained in Resolution No, 92,325; and <br /> <br />Local Request for Designation <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Cripple Creek has requested the Colorado Water Conservation Board <br />to designate and approve the detailed and approximate floodplain information contained in said new <br />report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Cripple Creek has requested the Colorado Water Conservation Board <br />specifically to omit from designation and approval the approximate floodplain information contained <br />in the September 30, 1988 Flood Insurance Study for Teller County and Incorporated Areas for those <br />portions of Cripple Creek, Poverty Gulch and Pony Gulch within the corporate limits of the City of <br />Cripple Creek, as they were on September 30, 1988; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Cripple Creek has not requested the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board to rescind the hydrologic information contained in Resolution No, 92-325; and <br /> <br />5 <br />
