The economic analysis will use the data <br />previously developed during the initial assessment portion of the feasibility study to the extent <br />possible. The economic analyst will attend required study team meetings and will conduct the <br />study in a manner that is in accordance with Corps planning policies and practices, <br /> <br />Task 1: Data Collection and Evaluation <br /> <br />Collect and Evaluate Socioeconomic Data (Phase I), The economic analyst will compile <br />socioeconomic data concerning historic, current, and projected population; income; employment; <br />and unemployment rate from data available through the U ,S, Census Bureau and the appropriate <br />State and local agencies, Local officials will provide any existing comprehensive plans and other <br />input regarding zoning and land use; and the location, timing, and nature of future development <br />(including infill and redevelopment), <br /> <br />19 <br /> <br />
