Ending water surface elevations are summarized below:

Flood Evpnt

FIRM Section F

CI.OMR Sect i rm 28+68

Existing

Proposed

10-Year
50-Year
100-Year
500- Year

5615.0
5615.6
5615.8
5616.1

5615.46
5616.00
5616.16
5616.50

5615.49
5616.02
5616.14
5616.46

It should be noted that the 'existing conditions' vary somewhat from the

FIRM elevations. This is due to the more detailed mapping and changes in

the area since the time of that study. Proposed conditions (with

improvements) match existing conditions at Section 28+68 and are all within

0.5 feet of the FEHA elevations for all storm frequencies.

Enclosed are copies of HEC-2 output files for Hoodway and multiple runs

(10-year, 50-year, 100-year, and 500-year events) for existing and proposed

conditions and a duplication of the FIS (calibration run). We have also

prepared copies of all corresponding profiles (Figures 3, 4, and 5). It

should also be noted that there is an error in the current 1989 FIS profiles.

Sections B, C, and D do not match the 100-year water surface elevations

printed in the Floodway Table.

4
