<br />RESOLUTION
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Soil Conservation Service,
<br />completed a floodplain information report entitled "Flood Hazard Analyses, Coal Creek and
<br />Rock Creek, Boulder and Weld Counties, Colorado." in October 1976, and
<br />Wright-McLaughlin Engineers, under contract to the Urban Drainage and Flood Control
<br />District, completed a floodplain .jnfomtation report entitled "Flood Hazard Area
<br />Delineation-Broomfield Area; Nissen Reservoir Basin, City Park Basin, Gray Reservoir
<br />Basin, West Lake Basin, Windmill Basin" rrl June 1979, and Greiner Engineering Sciences,
<br />Inc., under contract to the Urban Drainilge and Flood Control District, completed a
<br />floodplain information report entitled "Flood Hazard Area Delineation, Big Dry Creek,
<br />Tanglewood Creek, North Cotton Creek, Middle Cotton Creek, South Cotton Creek, Airport
<br />Creek, North Branch Airport Creek, North City Park Creek, South City Park Creek, South
<br />Branch Hylands Creek, Middle Branch Highlands Creek, North Branch Hylands Creek,
<br />Walnut Creek, Countryside Creek, North Branch Walnut Creek-Westminster Area" in
<br />November 1986; and Greiner Engineering: Sciences, Inc. under contract to the Federal
<br />Emergency Management Agency completed a floodplain information report entitled "Flood
<br />Insurance Study, City of Broomfield, Colorado, Adams, Boulder, and Jefferson Counties"
<br />on August 16, 1988. '
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by Boulder
<br />County, Weld County, and the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District, by the Urban
<br />Drainage and Flood Control District, by the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District,
<br />and by the City of Broomfield, respectively, by Resolutions Nos. 66, 144, 270, and 92-314,
<br />respectively adopted on January 19, 1977, Oecember 5, 1979, October 1, 1987, and May 8,
<br />1992, respectively, approved and designated the floodplains described in said reports; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, a new report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, City of Broomfield,
<br />Colorado, Adams, Boulder, and Jefferson Counties" revised September 28, 1990 has been
<br />prepared by the Federal Emergency Mana$ement Agency; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said new report include detailed floodplain information for the following
<br />streams:
<br />Airport Creek
<br />Big Dry Creek
<br />
