WHEREAS; a report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, Town
of Frisco, Colorado," which includes floodplain information and
data fOr Tenmile Creek and 'Meadow Creek, dated November, 1979, has
been prepared by Gingery AssOciates, Inc., under contract with the
Federal Insurance Administration; and

WHEREAS, said report describes and outlines the floodplain
data and information fOr the storm and flOOdwater runoff channels
or basins of the study area; and

WHEREAS, the Town of Frisco has requested the Colorado
Water Conservation Board to desi~nate and approve the flOodplain
areas as set forth in the aforesaid report; and

WHEREAS, Section 37-60,106(1) (c), Colorado Revised
Statutes 1973, directs the Colorado Water Conservation Board to
designate and approve storm or floodwater runoff channels or basins
and to make such designations available to legislative bodies of
local jurisdictions; and

WHEREAS, the staff of the Board has reviewed sa~a report
and does hereby recommend to the Colorado Water Conservation Board
that the Board designate and approve as flOOdplain areas those areas
inundated by a 100-year flood (intermediate regional flood) as
described by the floodwater surface elevations and profiles in said
report;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water
Conservation Board in regular meeting assembled in Denver, Colorado,
this 17th day of March, 1980, that it does hereby designate and
approve as flOodplain areas those areas described as being inundated
by a 100-year flood as described by the floodwater surface eleva-
tions and prOfiles in said report; and
