S. Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, <br />has completed for the City of Boulder, Colorado, Special Flood Hazard <br />Information Report, Boulder Creek, City of Boulder, Colorado, dated <br />May 1972; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Special Flood Hazard Information Report outlines <br />and describes the flood water runoff channels within the above described <br />areas; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Article 149-1~11(4), Colorado Revised Statutes 1963, <br />requires that the Colorado Water Conservation Board designate and <br />approve storm or flood water runoff channels and to make such designation <br />available to legislative bodies of local jurisdictions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Article 139-60-1, Colorado Revised Statutes 1963, <br />provides that such cities, towns, incorporated areas and local .juris- <br />dictions may provide zoning regulations for any storm or flood water <br />runoff channel'onlyafter designation and approval by the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Boulder, Colorado, has requested the <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board to designate and approve the flood <br />hazard areas as set forth in the aforesaid U. S. Corps of Engineers <br />Special Flood Hazard Information Report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the staff of the Board has reviewed the said Special <br />Flood Hazard Information Report and does hereby recommend to the <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board that said Board designate and approve <br />as flood hazard areas those areas set forth in the report as being <br />subject to an intermediate regional flood; <br /> <br />----.-~.--, '.~--NOw-;---ortlEREFORE-;-BE-IT-RESOl:;VED--by-the-Co:1:orado-~ater- -.--- <br />Conservation Board in regular meeting assembled. in Denver, Colorado, <br />this 16th day of August. 1972, that it does hereby designate and <br />approve as flood hazard areas those areas shown and described as being <br />inundated by an intermediate regionalrlood as set forth in the Special <br />Flood Hazard Information Report for Boulder Creek, Boulder, Colorado, <br />dated May 1972; and' <br />
