Enclosed are twenty copies of Phase A, Hidden Lake Major Drainageway Planning Study. The report was prepared as part of the contract to per- form a major drainageway planning study, including hydrological and economical analysis for the Hidden Lake basin. The draft report was sub- mitted on April 28, 1975, which is 150 days from the notice-to-proceed, received on November 25, 1974. The enclosed Phase A report includes the requested changes to the draft report, reviewed by you and your staff. The Hidden Lake study area, as defined by the contract, was found to be several separate drainage basins, i.e. Hidden Lake Planning Basin, Bates Lake Planning Basin and smaller sub-basins herein designated as Clear Creek Planning Basin. The planning basins were therefore analyzed separately in the study and results and conclusions presented accordingly. We wish to extend our appreciation to you and your staff, especially Mr. Bill DeGroot, for the cooperation received in the execution of the Phase A portion of the study and look forward to working with them during Phase B. We also received excellent cooperation from the staff of the City of Arvada and Adams County, as well as the interested parties involved with the problems of the study area drainage.
