In accordance with Section 37-60-106 (l)(c) C.R.s., as amended, the City of Englewood is
requesting that the Colorado Water Conservatiorl Board consider the official acknowledgement
of flood hazard areas within the City's corporate limits, as depicted in the Flood Insurance Studv.
City of Englewood. Colorado, dated November 1971, and the Flood Insurance Study. Arapahoe
County. Colorado. and Incoroorated Area, dated April 17 , 1989. These two Flood Insurance
Studies have been superseded by the Flood Insurance Studv. Arapahoe Countv. Colorado and
Incoroorated Areas, revised March 14, 1991. This 1991 Flood Insurance Study has already been
designated and approved by the Colorado Water Conservation Board. Therefore; the City of
Englewood is requesting an official acknowledg~ment of the two older Flood Insurance Studies
rather than designation and approval, keeping the designation of the 1991 Flood Insurance Study
fully in force.

We request that the Colorado Water Conservation Board's staff review the Flood Insurance
Studies for official acknowledgement at the Board's regular meeting scheduled for November
