<br />I ... <br />. <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />'I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />~I <br />I <br />~ -. <br /> <br />Input from other agencies for peak discharges below Lawn <br />Lake and Cascade Reservoir, at the gage above Lake Estes, and <br />at other places will be collected to prepare a di scharge prof ile <br />of the entire flood. <br /> <br />Flood Volume <br /> <br />Preliminary analyses of measurements in the rate of rise in <br />Lake Estes has been made to determine flood volume and a <br />hydrograph of the flood downstream of the town. <br /> <br />Flood Travel Times <br /> <br />A preliminary comparison of observed time of peak with <br />distances and stream slope has been made based on interviews <br />collected by other agencies and travel times reported in the <br />press. <br /> <br />Flood Photos <br /> <br />The staff has approximately 55 still photos taken on July 15 <br />from about noon to 3:30 and about 30 photos taken on July 16. We <br />also have obtained a set of aerial photographs of the flood from <br />M&I Engineers. <br /> <br />Newspaper Articles <br /> <br />We have collected pertinent newspaper articles about the <br />flood from the Denver Post, tpe Rocky Mountain News, and the <br />Estes Park Trail-Gazette. . <br /> <br />Additional Information <br /> <br />For additional information on the Board's activities <br />relative to the flood, please contact Bill Stanton at 866-3441. <br /> <br />gl <br /> <br />ed-2 <br />bill <br />
