Hood, P.E. <br /> <br />The City of Tallahassee StOlmwater Utility has implemented several programs to manage the <br />qualitative and quantitative aspects of stonnwater runoff throughout th eCity. These programs <br />involve the regulation of new developments, maintenance of existing streams and stormwater <br />facilities, storm water planning, surface water quality management, and analysis, design and <br />construction of various stormwater management projects. These programs are managed thorugh <br />a coordinated effort among multiple City departmentes. Through the implementation of these <br />programs the City has initiated and completed several projects that address many of the <br />stormwater problems. Some, of the comopleted projects inlcude a comprehensive stormwater <br />management plan for the major streams throughout the City, detailed stormwater plans for <br />specific streams within the City, a rainfall and stream gauging network, and regional stormwater <br />facilities. <br /> <br /> <br />Sam A.
