The Board of Directors of the Urban Drainage and Flood Control
District, at their August meeting, passed Resolution No. 56, Series of
1989 (copy enclosed) adopting this report. We request that the Colorado
Water Conservation Board consider the 100-year floodplains described in
this report for designation as flood hazard areas. Adams County,
Thornton, Broomfield and Westminster will be responsible for regulating
the floodplains.

We will be happy to make a presentation to your Board, if you so
desire. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

~\~

L. Scott Tucker
Executive Director

LST/WGD/dm
Enclosures
