<br />floodplain areas those areas inundated by a 100-year flood (inter- <br />mediate regional flood) as described by the floodwater surface <br />elevations and profiles in said new report, and further recommends <br />that the floodplain designation for a portion of the south Platte <br />River commencing at a point seven thousand two hundred feet (7,200') <br />downstream of the U. S. Highway No. 85 bridge, thence upstream to <br />a point five thousand one hundred feet (5,100') upstream of the <br />U. S. Highway No. 85 bridge as approved by the previous floodplain <br />resolution (NO. 82) adopted NOvember 15, 1977, be rescinded; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE !T RESOLVED by the ColoradO Water <br />conservation Board in regular meeting assembled in Denver, Colorado, <br />this 14th day of March, 1979, that it does hereby designate and <br />approve as floodplain areas those areas described as being inun- <br />dated by a 100-year flood as described by the floodwater surface <br />elevations and profiles in said new report for the South Platte. <br />River and does hereby rescind said portion of the resolution adopted <br />November 15, 1977; and <br /> <br />BElT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Board <br />is directed to send a certified copy of this resolution to the <br />city of Evans; the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County; <br />the Federal Insurance Administration; and the United States Army <br />Corps of Engineers, Omaha District. <br /> <br />C E R T 1 F I CAT E <br /> <br />.1 certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy <br />of a resolution adopted by a ~ajority vote of the members of the <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board in regular session assembled at <br />Denver, Colorado, on the 14th day of March, 1979, at which a <br />quorum was present. <br /> <br />~~~- <br />
