<br />e <br /> <br />THE URBAN DRAINAGE AND FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. ill, SERIES OF 1990 <br />(Acceptance of Flood Hazard Area Delineation Report <br />For Lower Dad Clark Gulch and DFA 0068) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board has previously established a Work Pro9ram for I9B9 <br /> <br /> <br />(Resolution No. 69, Series of 1988) which included the delineation of flood <br /> <br />hazard areas; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board has previously authorized the Executive Director to <br />execute an a9reement with a qualified engineering consultant for the completion <br />of a master planning and flood hazard area delineation study for Lower Dad Clark <br />Gulch and DFA 006B (Resolution No.7, Series of 19B9); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Executive Director has executed an agreement with Centennial <br /> <br />Engineering Inc., for a flood hazard area delineation study of Lower Dad Clark <br /> <br />Gulch and DFA OD6B to be conducted in con~unction with the master planning <br /> <br />study; and <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a report ItFlood Hazard Area Delineation, Lower Dad Clark Gulch and <br /> <br /> <br />DFA 0068" dated November, 1990. has been completed by Centennial Engineering <br /> <br />Inc.; and <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board has previously indicated its desire that the results of <br /> <br />such studies be provided to the local governments so as to assist such local <br />governments in meeting the requirements of HB 1041. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: <br /> <br />1. The Board of Directors of the Urban Drainage and Flood Control <br /> <br />District accepts the report "Flood Hazard Area Delineation. Lower Dad <br /> <br />Clark Gulch and DFA 0068", November, 1990, and recommends its use as a <br /> <br /> <br />guide in future planning related to the floodplains contained therein. <br /> <br /> <br />2. The Board of Directors of the Urban Drainage and Flood Control <br /> <br /> <br />District recommends that Littleton adopt the report and re9ulate the <br /> <br /> <br />100-year floodplains defined in the report. <br /> <br />3. The Board of Directors of the Urban Drainage and Flood Control <br /> <br />District submit the report for de$ign~tion and approval by the <br /> <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board as stated in Section <br /> <br />37-60-I06(1)(c), Colorado Revised Statutes, 1973, as flood hazard <br /> <br />areas, those areas described as being inundated by the IOO-year flood. <br /> <br />e <br />
